တရားမ်ား ၾကားနာရျခင္းမွ ရလာေသာအျမင္

Two days ago, we, six monks from Myanmar, were invited to participate Buddha's day cerebrated in Hailand in which park and play ground for people are created by business man being constructed the building as Buddhist temple style from Asian countries. Though they held Buddha's day on 6 may of 2012, but It is already held on 5 may 2012 in Myanmar, representing the four important events of Buddha. Historical record said that on this day, The Buddha was surely assigned by Dipankarabuddha for becoming a Buddha ( Enlightened one ), the Buddha was born as a prince of ancient Indian tripe ( Sakya clan ), the Buddha attained enlightenment under the Boddhi tree in Bodhgayar after his six years austerity, and the Buddha have attained great demise ( Mahaparinibbana).
I planed to talk about What really Buddha thought for business man as a spiritual properties. But time was limited and I had not enough time to complete all of what I want to share to them. Situation demanded to speak a few words and stop in the middle of my speaking. According to Buddha, There are seven kind of spiritual properties, though he further recognized four kind of material wealth. Here I want to point only seven spiritual properties. They are Sadda (confidence), Sila (morality), Suta (knowledge), Caga (generosity or charity), Panna (wisdom), Hiri (fear of evil), and Ottappa (shame of evil). These seven are thought by Buddha to the world when Suppabuddha was considered as a poorest man and told about him by people. The Buddha pointed out that if one has the seven kind of spiritual or noble properties, it can not be called as a poor man.
Among seven noble properties, I am now going to extent the first property, confidence, copying form Dr. Venerable Nandamalar's Dhamma talk. The first noble wealthy, confidence is said to be similar to seed (Sadda Vijam) by the Buddha. If seed is putted on the earth and pour some water on it, seed will give two functions of rooting under the ground, and at the same time growing on the ground producing plan, branches and leaves. Similarly confidence makes morality as a root of person, and at the same time, pays great support to mediation. That is, if one has confident he will easily keep or observe the precepts which are considered as a earth or foundation on which one can rely for his success or reputation or to gain whatever he wishes. In the same period, he can further easily take meditation. After rooting under the ground firmly and growing enough plan, seed produces flowers or fruit which is pretty scene and smell and sweet taste. Likewise, one who has confident, after keeping precepts firmly and taking meditation to some extent, he will surely gain Magga (path of liberation), Pala (fruit of result of liberation), and Nibbana ( absolute liberation).

               Further things will come soon.
